Founded in 1980 by Late Dr. R. K. Seth, Venu Eye Institute & Research Centre is a leading Eye Hospital in India, engaged in providing preventive, curative and rehabilitative eye care services in New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.
With a team of more than 230 experienced Doctors, Nurses, Paramedical and Support personnel, Venu owns and manages over 13 eye care facilities that includes the Base Hospital, 05 Satellite Hospitals and 08 Vision Centres.
Since its inception, Venu has touched over 7.9 million* lives & still counting; crossed over 0.48 million* Surgeries with incredible success rates and organized over 250 Free Eye Screening Camps every year. 50% of the patients are treated free. Income generated from the 50% paying patients subsidize the 50% free patients.
The hospital is on the panel of over 98 TPA and Government & Public Sector Undertakings for eye health of their employees.
Venu is an university recognized teaching & training centre for Postgraduate teaching programmes for Doctors and Internship & Fellowship programmes for Optometrists.
The Hospital is ISO 9001:2015 certified Eye Care Hospital.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Better to visit its main branch at Sheikh Sarai. This branch is only for minor allignments.
Specialised eye hospital is located in Sheikh Sarai. Cataract operation of both eyes was done in June 2015. Dr. Jha was friendly and performed operation of both eyes in a gap of 4 days. Didn't face any problem. Reception and billing section are fine. Counsellor needs to provide all options in detail to patents before operation. It also cover CGHS patients. Can go without any hesitation. IT also has a small chemist and optical shops in-house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good if you are a BPL and cannot affort a better treatment elsewhere.Same tests and investigations are repeated and the patient is not given a copy of the findings,unless he insists hard.Has a well laid out systems but there is a disconnect between subsystems.
