★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely poor service. Have shifted Landline locally in Kolkata. Got order for installation at new place on 26 Nov and they did wiring on 28 Nov. Today is 7 December. I am calling exchange 10 times a day but they haven't provided connection till date at my new residence. I am paying Rs.1344 per month for Landline and broadband. But broadband was not working past 7 months at my previous address. I lodge complaint online but they close the complaint without visiting or contacting. Means I am paying for broadband services without getting the actual service. The attitude employees SECTOR 3 exchange is pathetic. Previously Beleghata exchange employees were also non co operative. I think why do I not change my service provider when I am facing such inconvenience. I am among few persons who are loyal to the Brand even if it has lost the sheen. But now it's too much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the Head office of Calcutta Telephone (now Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, BSNL kolkata branch). It is a very big building and 200-250 meter from Lalbazar police and Writers' building. HSBC, GPO kolkata and Laldighi are there beside this building. They launched land phone in Calcutta although later Airtel, Reliance and Tata indicom launched wireless land phone. When BSNL introduced mobile service and broadband service it was running very well, but gradually people are disconnecting land phones and day by day they are facing huge business losses. The office is in very good place but the quality of service is not good. The office is also not clean at all

The wrong decision on business due to govt policy the company is sinking day by day from 2010. Central Government trying to close it parmanently, due to give advantage to the private sector companies.

It's a well equipped 8 storid office with seven lifts including a goods lift, a 40 personnel capacity round table conference room with individual microphone and a large 6'X7' high resolution projector and many more facilities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BSNL is the best. It just needs to streamline the things and have a better customer support system. BSNL 3G speed is faster than other operator's 4G services. Hope BSNL too launches 4G services soon!!
