★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of old club in Kolkata, mainly known for Tennis playing, Guest also can member with nominal fees. Also people are having food inside from club restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect tennis club and one of tge best tennis facilities in the country with 6 clay courts (like French open clay), 6 grass courts, 4 hard courts, swimming pool, good food and centrally located. Importantly well maintained too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asia's best tennis club .......now has a swimming pool also...... decent new wing with new restaurant......more construction happening ...... looking forward to a new gym and other facilities too.
But full of oldies/veterans, who feel this is their home.......and they visit mostly stag ...... club lacks women footfall.......place needs to reinvent it's culture, along with the new infrastructure.
In spite of being the best tennis club it is primitive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A close friend of ours, Ms. Camy invited us there on 2nd evening for some sun-downers & food. I started of with my usual rum+hot water (goes well for winter outings) while the two ladies stuck to their vodka and that paired out real well with the chilly egg suggested by our friend. Simply awesome I must say about this food item! Perhaps, the scenario of pandemic still being round the crowd was a bit thin but we enjoyed the cozy set-up outside the old building. Food quality, what we gather, sill being maintained well including the courteous service extended by the hospitality staff. South Club still maintains their old colonial charm and we oldies still love it! Overall an enjoyable evening with thanks to our charming hostess, Ms. Camy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okayish place..there are tennis courts..both clay and grass. There is a small swimming pool but it is not maintained. The banquet area is small but okay. Location of the club is very good though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a private club located in central Kolkata near Minto park. It has tennis courts and many competitions take place there. It has small to large banquets along with catering services available for hiring by any member for any celebrations. Food quality is good here. Well stocked Bar is also there.
