★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thakar Gujarati thali is an average thali outlet not an excellent one. Ambience, facilities, location is good. Its main part is food which is average in terms of taste and varieties. Just same ordinary food. Keeping all the points in mind the pricing of Rs. 350 for unlimited thali is expensive as there are much better unlimited thalis available in Mumbai within same price range. This place is recommended only for people living close by or in the same locality.
Menu during my visit:
4 vegetables: Undhiyu, Moong, Aloo, Patra
2 Farsans: Dhokla, Kachori
3 Sweets: Puran Poli, Kesar Jalebi, Dudh Pak
Other items: Roti, Puri, Dal, Rice, Kadhi, Butter Milk, Papad, Salad, Pickle, 2 Chutneys

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This so called hotel hosts private gathering in the same spot where other guests are seated. So you are forced to face the commotion of a loud gathering with people literally screaming in your ears. When you ask the waiters to request the screechers to calm down, the waiters refuse because those tables would pay huge bills.
If you can bear this, you have to ask the staff to serve you warm food or else they'll serve you cold food. The food is nothing special. Everything just tastes same.
Please order a good pizza from somewhere else and stay at home instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely ambience, polite staff that is very eager to serve and unlimited delicious Gujarati food served at 400 per Thal. The owner and host Cherag is a very amiable person and a great host... I would certainly recommend visiting this place with friends and family.
