An exclusive food joint for 'Chaaya' and 'kadi'. Thalassery cafe offers a slew of snacks from the Malyali Cuisine. Slightly themed to look like a 'thattukada' this tiny food place is opposite their restaurant at the middle of the notorious Marathalli Junction. Food is good. Its the variety thats amazing. While the shop claims to be open till 10:00 PM. Coming in by 8:00 would the best if you want to really get something from the whole lot. Things get over pretty fast here. They have finally started accepting Gpay and Paytm as well.

Always a feel good feeling whenever I visit here. Very good tasty Kerala snacks. I think the highlight is pazham pozhi. Nostalgic tastes of kerala. Nice coffee and well behaved staff. For the past three years almost all Sundays I used to visit here. A real Five Star rating given from my heart. Loving it....

Good place to have tea with snacks. It’s a Kerala based tea shop. Good for people who long for Kerala snacks. You get vada, samosa and other tasty snacks. They also serve quality Kerala breakfast like puttu and aapam. Very nice I loved it and would recommend them. They also serve quickly. In tea they have almost all kinds of tea like lemon and ginger etc.

A best place for tea and snacks though they provide breakfast and other items. Tea is superb. Snacks are good, most of them gets over fast. Place is less spacious and mostly it is crowded. Ambience is good which gives an effect of a 'thattukada'. It's not pocket friendly place for breakfast or other items but a great place to try for snacks and tea.

My family and I visit Thalassery Cafe often to grab a cup of tea and snacks. Tea is usually brilliant and made in the traditional Kerala style using a boiler. The cafe staff are friendly and very accommodative. The best aspect though are the snacks and the variety. They have samosas (chicken and veg), pazham puzhi (banana fritters), egg sandwich, chicken rolls, bonda etc… If you are lucky, these are served hot off the stove. And the prices are very reasonable.
