★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is delicious but the price is a bit high. Ambience is good.
Update: Horrible service and bad quality food. With food you also get stone and hair. When informed the manager, he wasn't even concerned and was throwing his attitude on my face. No regard for customers. Didn't even have the courtesy to apologize.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been here a couple of times. It's not like it's an amazing place or anything. It is more of convince than anything else. From outside it does not look very clean , but from inside he has maintained it. Typically kerla food with kerla parata and kerla meals, but you get northindian dishes also. Fish dishes are supposed to be good. Ok to go if you are in the neighborhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This incident happened few weeks back. After a long back we came to visit Bengaluru and by the time we reached it was nearly 3.30pm peak lunch time. We chose tharavadu hotel from swiggy for lunch as we had gud experience with this restaurent in the past. Ordered few porotas and chicken vazhatiath( kerala style) and the bill costs nearly 500Rs. It took 20-30 minutes for them to deliver the food as we were staying in the near by lodge. We got shocked after seeing the delivered items. The chicken vazhattiyath was just an absolutely pathetic dish. Its kind of amaturely prepared dish with very less in quanity. It was even very less in quantity for one single person and they had charged 300 plus Rs for that damn curry. I barely managed to eat it while my wife didnt take it. Never had this kind of worst experience from any kerala restaurents in bangalore. I really wished to call swiggy for refund but due to tight schedule didnt think about it. Providing food with Low quality and less quantity at a very higher price is a kind of cheating their customers . Hope you people should bring up some kind of ethics in ur business
In reply to @owner: This is not a mistaken identity. We had ordered from Tharavadu family restuarent only and the particular menu item was Chicken vararattiyathu( my bad it was given as vazhattiyathu). It was orderd through swiggy on feb 25 , 2022 and full details with us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the Chicken egg Pothichor via Swiggy. Such a pathetic restaurant. No quality or quantity. Rice they have given for 3 people and curry is very less not even for a single person. Chicken quality is waste, only bones that too 2 small pieces. Dont know why Swiggy is agreeing to add these restaurants in the app. Disgusting.

The decor inside leaves a lot to be desired. It appears that there was no serous renovations in recent years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They forgot to give me chicken in the chicken biryani. No chicken was there. Don't order from here. They have 2 restaurants Tharavadu family restaurant and Tharavadu malabar resturant both are similar and you won't get their number online neither will they pick your calls. Beware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have ordered couple of time from this place . Very first time had a very bad experience instead of veg meal gave non vet meal.
But the other food we ordered was good . Recently ordered pothi hoti and veg biryani .. both were good . Packaging was perfect and amount , taste and quality of food was good.

Didn't know anything about Kerala meals before this but I blindly ordered Egg Pothichoru (Egg lunch packed in banana leaf) from Tharavadu & oh my god!
From quantity to quality to packaging - everything was spot on. They made sure that the gravy rice, aaloo sabzi, papad, mint chatni, sambhar, kheer (payasam) or mint chhaas (buttermilk) - nothing spills out of the packaging. Freshly cooked rice, boiled egg & omlette. I literally overate the food.
Perfect for one person (if you're a foodie like me, otherwise you will waste some because the quantity is so much)
Got the deal from Swiggy at around 110 rs & my day is sorted tbh ⭐
If you're living in Koramangala, HSR or Marathahalli - this restaurant is a must try ?
They have multiple veg & non-veg options so ya! Also, I'm not paid for this review ???
