Dattatreya contains both God and Guru. Hence he is also called Parabrahm Murthy Sadguru and Sri Gurudev Dutt. He is considered the first guru, seeker, yogi and scientist of the Guru dynasty. Dattatreya's superiority is also mentioned in various Puranas and Mahabharata. He is the incarnation of Shri Hari Vishnu. He is a follower, trata and devout Vatsal, and also a devotee.
