★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had been in search of a good music academy where I could learn western classical piano and I can say I found it!!
Especially love the fact that the classes are conducted on acoustic pianos and not on keyboards. The staff is highly qualified, the atmosphere is friendly which encourages us to learn and push our limits. The masterclasses and the recitals keep our interest in the subjects intact balancing the theory and practical simultaneously. It's helping me a lot to develop my performance and composition skills.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While I was searching for piano class for myself in May, I visited 30+ piano classes in Pune. I knew if I wanted to be the best, I will have to learn from the best. Then I found Academy of music, I contacted them & next day I was called for an interview. I remember on the interview day, a girl (student) was practicing on a wonderful grand piano. It was the finest piano sound I have ever listened in my life & the way she was playing, not even teachers from the classes I visited earlier could play like that. At that time only, I decided this is the place I’m going to take my piano education & now I have been learning in Academy of music since June 2016.
I read few negative comments here but that’s only because they were too early to judge. I agree, director is strict but she is also caring & loving just the way an ideal teacher should be. I’m very grateful for having this wonderful place in Pune where passionate students from all over India come & learn here. It feels so good seeing children of age 4, 5, 6+ learning & performing in recital but then you also feel that I should have started early. It’s never too late to start as I know students in academy who started their piano learning at 40+ of their age. One thing I would like to say is no matter what age you are, if you are really passionate about piano then go for it. Contact them for interview & I’m sure Roxana ma’am help you & guide you.
Another thing is I love the way, academy is so performance based. It not only makes us confident to face real life audience but also inspires us to work harder. Can you believe, just after 3 months of joining piano lessons, I had my first 2 piano performances in front of audience & that too went very well. & this month I’m having another performance for Christmas.
I’m very grateful for everyone out there, my friends, teachers, staff & especially Roxana ma’am & Derrick sir under whom I’m taking my piano & music theory classes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My two boys have learnt everything musical at the Academy of Music. The dedication of the teachers and the quality of teaching is unsurpassed. Students learn more than just the ability to play the Piano, they understand the nuances of music and appreciate composers and their compositions. As a parent I anticipate the pomp and splendour of the bi-annual concerts, which transport one to a concert chamber in Vienna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cherish every moment i spent in the academy as a student. The founder's selfless dedication to the performing arts is commendable and her pedagogical credentials are impeccable. A wonderful artist herself, she brings out the best in any student. The academy is run in a very professional manner with systems and procedures guiding every facet of a student's musical journey.
I see some negative feedback in these reviews. While everybody is entitled to an opinion I want to share something here which ought to place them in context. Music is a sublime art that thrives on creativity. However it takes months if not years of painful discipline and routine to reach a stage where one can claim any degree of proficiency. In that journey, the professional musician who imparts the training should at times think and act like a tough taskmaster and a cold rationalist to ensure that every student learns the rudiments and techniques underlying successful musical performance. I look back with gratitude at such moments as they are done not with malice but with a genuine desire to ensure the student's success ( and succeed indeed they have!...just check out some of the luminaries across the world who have emerged from the Academy!)
I wish the Academy every success in its noble mission of propagating the performing arts in India.

My daughter has been learning music at the academy since the past 6 years and I so respect its attitude of discipline and perfection. I believe that you need motivation, practice and discipline to be a master in any field and this is what the Teachers at the Academy strive to give to its students.The exposure by way of concerts, Musi Quest and Piano Festivals accorded to the students here, presents to them a unique opportunity to compete in a healthy way and learn from the best from around the world in the field of piano.

She gets an all rounded musical education along with playing the Piano. She enjoys her Music Appreciation and theory classes as part of her education at the Academy. It's run by a very passionate director, who puts her 100% when it comes to encouraging, caring and nourishing her students.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enrolled my daughters at the Academy of Music when they were 6 and 4 years old and they continued to learn piano here till they started college! The director, Roxana, taught my daughters throughout. The academy is equipped with beautiful grand pianos and a music/book library, which would be the envy of any music teacher in the entire country! Roxana is very passionate and knowledgeable about music and is therefore able to bring out the best in her students. She is a very caring and dedicated teacher. She is not like the other teachers in town who focus on making their students take an exam every year, which basically restricts the students to learning just the exam pieces. Roxana always encouraged my daughters to pick the pieces they liked to play and focused on learning music rather than exams. The students get several opportunities to perform in front of an audience through performance classes and recitals. Also, they get to learn from world renowned pianists through master classes and the piano festival, MusiQuest. What started out as an extracurricular activity for my daughters, has become a huge part of their lives. My daughters cherish their time spent at the academy. If you want to learn piano, this is the place to go to. All the best to Roxana and the Academy of Music!
