★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bangalore Tiffins is a nice addition to restaurants in Solan Infact Himachal. They have an interesting menu. You will find some exciting Vegetarian South Indian options here. They even have innovated some recipes by blending a mix of Himachal and South Indian. A great example is Ghee Shakkar Nariyal Dosa. Their menu is not extensive but all that they offer tastes good and reasoanbly priced.
The decor is nice and people who like eating South Indian food will love it. From generic idli vada they have offerings like Tulsi Sulamani Chai and Paddu. A must visit. The owners are from Himachal but they have spent most part of their life in South.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Size of Vada is just too small , can be eaten in 2 bites. I am keeping a kitkat chocolate for reference in the picture. with these size, it should be atleast 4 vada per plate.
same with Sambhar. I have read numerous reviews stating that quantity is less, and this is true! the packaging was half full, you can NOT eat vada/dosa/idli with this quantity.
and in the name of cutlery, all I received was 1 tissue paper + 1 fork and 1 spoon.

The food is very delicious.everything you get there is fresh.the restaurant is very simple and appealing. If you want to get same taste and the smell of spices of south india than you should go there. You can dine in there and take out too . The best part is home delivery is also available. The prices of dishes are very reasonable. So go and enjoy the food ??
