★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a wicker basket by Sep'17 and received my product in Feb'18 without mid partition, damaged rail and following continuously till date for the missed and damaged part. Lesson learnt from this company that we should not pay amount in advance. I don't know how these company is exist and doing business.
Poor service and since no option for no star, selected 1 star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pathetic service, unprofessional executives, grossly unsuitable to deal with. I have ordered a sofa set for which I have paid 15000/- advance. Initially I was promised to deliver it on 22nd April, then extended to 28 the April, 8th may, 9th May and so on. On every scheduled date of delivery please expect only a new date and new executive dealing with you. Eventually you loose your interest in the product and regret for having placed an order with Bengal Basket. This company actually deserves no star..not at all recommended.
Company says that i have refused cod is a blatant lie and defines their way of functioning . These people are so audacious that they can lie even on a public forum. Fact is they promised me several dates for delivery and one fine day I received a call that they are delivering but to our surprise an ambassador car entered into our premises . We were surprised that how can they deliver a sofa set in an ambassador car. Finally we got to know that it's only centre table . We refused to take delivery as it was only part shipment. The delivery boy told us that there is break down in their truck and they will deliver remaining items next day. We thought they were lying and it was proved next day that they were actually lying . Our sofa even after 1.5 months was not ready.As such there was no point paying them entire amount in advance. Further it was agreed that all payment will be made through NEFT ,then there was no question of COD.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered 6 chairs and a table. They sent 4 completely different chairs without cushion covers two weeks after promised date. He doesn’t reply to WhatsApp or answer phone. Perfect cheat. Never order from him. They don’t deserve even one star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a fake company, I have paid advance for a baby crib 2 months back. Not received the product and nobody takes my phone call. People like dipanjan are fraudsters. Please don't order anything. I can post my advance receipt.
I finally received my product after 4 months. Though the service is pathetic the product is better than my expectations. Please improve your service this is not the way to do business. Online purchases are all about trust

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the most disappointing experience with Bengal Basket. The product that was shown on the website was no way the product I received. I received two very,very poor quality chairs with so many defects and extremely poor quality finish and it was no way comparable to the product's picture that was advertised on the company's website as well as the pictures sent to me by the company's Marketing Manager . Then I had to follow for up almost an year !!!!!! for replacement with no response from the company for months on end. The marketing manager/company stopped attending my calls and mails and no one in the office had any idea about the issue and not once any senior person from the company stepped in to help resolve the issue or attend to the complaint. Only when I informed the company that I had decided to go to the consumer forum there was some response and finally after 8/9 months of countless mails and follow up , I received the replacement chairs. Even these , though better than the first set of chairs, are still no way upto standard - quality wise, dimensionally as well as finish. Even the cushions are not comfortable. Unfortunate that I got tangled with such a company and lost so much of time, money and energy in the process.
In addition to all the above woes, I have termite issues with the chairs sent. Have mailed the company, do not know if I will get a response

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have ordered bed from this company , initially we agreed on 65000 price and they said they will deliver in 2 months and no delivery cost and asked me to pay advance 40000 which I paid and after that they stopped picking up phone. and gave one poor quality product after 6 ,months without matrtess and sent by one courier and asked me to pay to courier.. and did not sent the product till I paid the full amount.. fraud company, fraud people.. all the good reviews are from their employee who has never ordered just gave review here.... beware of this fraud company...

Duped an amount of 10K and did not return the call for 1 month after that. Their representatives run after you and contact you daily till you have not made the advance payment, and after making the payment they will stop responding to your calls. All numbers available on website go either out of order or they deliberately stop picking your calls. I messaged the representative about cancelling the order seeking my Advance payment refund...which was never processed. They are a bunch of idiots taking people for granted and looting the hard earned money.
Be Aware, don't trust them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The basket (bamboo) chairs we ordered was below standard...we paid them the full amount before delivery and to the nightmare, the day after delivery we observed the chairs had worms everywhere...the side table has fungus..We tried reaching out to Bengal Basket but Mr.Deepanjan is now not picking up our phone..
order if you want to waste money and receive garbage..

So, it’s been a year, we are using the chairs. We were very upset after delivery but after cleaning the product and keeping it in sun..we started using it..it looks very grand..changing the rating to 4 from 1.
