I request all buyers and potential buyers who believe in these reviews and have come to the review section for this shop, please do not order cake from this shop. This shop could easily turn your celebration into your biggest nightmare.
The first birthday of any child is very close to the heart of parents and grandparents. We have ordered a vanilla cake with some designs for our twins' first birthday.
What we received was a melted cake and has no vanilla flavour at all.
Later shop claimed it is a chocolate truffle cake and to my surprise, it was neither. It was an extremely dry cake from inside, i could easily say it was just bread.
We discussed this with the shop and the shop has admitted their mistake and proposed a refund. We said we want a full refund and they said they will calculate a refund amount and come back to us.
Later they started blocking our calls and blocked us on WhatsApp and finally "Ek paisa nahi denge, jo karna hai kar lo".
We could easily go to the shop and fight but we are choosing to spread this awareness in the interest of all the consumers.
Few lines by shop owners while having our conversations
Owner -> " I have eaten more cakes and eat more cake than you"
Us -> "What's the point if you have eaten more cakes if you can't figure out how a vanilla flavoured cake looks like."
Owner -> " I have given you better thing than what you have asked for"
Us -> "If a customer asks for Vanilla then there might be very few important reasons behind it. 1. Likes only vanilla flavoured cakes, 2. Doesn't like chocolate cake", 3. Allergic to chocolate
Owner -> "I will talk to my father and figure out the refund amount. Papa has said not to refund the entire amount."
Us -> "Wow!!"
"Papa's boy if you can't take ownership of your mistake then you will always be a boy".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible taste and very low quality cream used. The cake we ordered and the cake that was delivered were poles apart.Worst design ever and worst delivery partners. Please never buy anything from here. Only fake false promises and nothing in return. Over high prices for horrible taste. Don't buy from here, beware of this shop or be ready to spoil your own occasion very badly .

They matched the exact color of icing that I have picture reference of. Such a beautiful neatly made cake. Asked for real flowers on the cake and they complied with beautiful fresh flavours,
Taste was to die for. The icing so light nd fresh and inside red velvet was amazing and delicious.
The delivery was a bit delayed but maybe cz of a huge traffic jam in the city that day.
Though a bit of prior planning is needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible cake..it's like 4 day old cake..not fresh at all..plus it hasn't been decorated well..could see black parts on it..for the sake of cutting, we cut it but 10 ppl together couldn't finish it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a fresh pineapple cake today through Zomato and received a horrible Pineapple cake instead which nobody would accept even if given for free. The cake seems atleast to be 10 days old. The pineapple syrup poured over the cake has turned rubbery, the cream has turned sour and gross, even the pineapple pieces have lost its total freshness. Wasn't expecting the birthday to be ruined like this.
My expectations from THE CAKE SHOP BAKERY has gone down the drain.
To the owners, if you see this review please give me full refund of my money spent on that gross cake. I wouldn't have a bite of it if I was given for free, let alone paying a penny.
