Canopy is now close to 15 years since the first occupancy. The association has done well with limited resources to ensure the facilities well maintained to the best.

The people who have given this apartment complex five star reviews are owners of apartments here and they make up the owners' association. These are the people in charge of maintaining the society, so do not expect them to write anything negative in a review. I do not know all owners, but I can say with absolute certainty that Navin Mathew and Venkataratnam Koduri are owners. Dhananjay Yadav Jay was the former manager of the complex. He has since left the job, so perhaps his 5-star review will change in time. The truth is that this apartment complex is very run down, and getting anything fixed here is nearly impossible. I have no idea what my maintenance fees actually go towards. The images posted here paint a pretty picture, but look underneath the surface and you will see the true state of this complex. Here are some aspects to focus on: The pool is unusable due to how dirty and run down it is. For over two years now, the owners association has said that the pool is "under renovation" and refuse to have it cleaned. The "gym" is a joke. I think most of the equipment was used during the British Raj. It's unusable. The lifts are constantly out of service due to repairs. Recently, people were getting stuck in the lifts for over a week. The association would announce it safe for use and someone would get stuck on the same day. The power backup is often off, excuse given is that it is "resting." When confronted about this, the owners association claims that they always said the power backup did not give 100% power backup, so residents will have to live with the backup power being off for hours at a time. In addition to my monthly maintenance fee, I need to also pay a water fee. This is divided up among all people in the block. I do my best to save water, yet some people in my block have their cars washed daily. I am obligated to pay for the water that these people use to wash their cars. Civil work in some blocks has been going on for months on end. I felt like I lived in a construction zone. Bringing any of this up on community WhatsApp groups and the owners association get very defensive and provide excuses like "This complex is 15 years old, what do you expect?" In what world is a 15-year-old building considered old? The issue is not the age of the building, but rather the lack of pride of the owners in the very spaces that they own, and the lack of initiative to get things done properly. On top of all of this, Babusapalya is becoming run down due to a lack of attention from the BBMP. This is not the fault of the Canopy society but we all have to live with it. It definitely does not help the already frustrating state of things here. Excuses for not maintaining the property, in addition to the decline of the infrastructure around this society, have caused this society to decline drastically.

This is just a wonderful place. Easily accessible for all essential needs even the fruit market is also close by. If one is looking for house rental purpose its a go go option. Its a well maintained and soo green society. The security is also great. Some houses even offer their own terraces if you go for top floor.

Old apartment but very neatly maintained ..!! Has all amenities like swimming pool , club house, gym , table tennis, pool table and so on..! Garden is very well maintained..! Staff is also good ..!
