★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A brilliant teacher who shares a one on one rapport with her students and caters to individual needs of each child . You will definitely get more than you can ask for . I would just prefer timings to be 3 to 4 in the afternoon or 8 to 9 in the evening so that it does not take away the outdoor play time that children have missed due to the pandemic

First of all I congratulate myself for finding a right mentor for my son....
It was the month of July 2020 and I was searching for a chess coaching academy for my ten year old son..... Being a Professor myself, I was very much conscious of the kind of coach that my son gets.... !!! One of our family friends Mr. Thakur suggested to contact you... I thought to give it a try... The very first interaction with you cleared all my doubts and apprehensions ...... You asked me not to judge my son.... Rather you said who are we to judge!!!!
Apart from that, what strikes me most is the dedication and siscere efforts you take and the clarity of explanation you have... The parental attitude makes the students wait for the claas everyday.....
I am not only sure of my son's progress.... But also the life skills he will develop in himself...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter has been with focus group chess class for last 6 months and has been very fond of chess since then. She looks forward to the classes. Ms. Gagandeep accommodated our vacation and covered some extra one on one classes to make up for the missed content.
I definitely like the structure of the curriculum and overall flow of the classes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very well planned sessions and every game is evaluated and kids get feedback on that. Though these are group classes but individual attention is given to each kid .
Classes are conducted on time and extra classes conducted whenever needed.
My son really enjoying these sessions as teacher always encourages and guide them to do better and never forgets to praise them for every good move they make.
I enrolled my youngest son but now seeing him playing my elder kids also learning the techniques and enjoying chess with him ... he is now our in house chess teacher :) .

He never missed a chance to miss the classes and is always looking forward to attending che. recently when my son Rohin9)while playing with his elder brother, could easily check-mate him. Would highly highly recommend The Focus Group, as Ma'ams way of teaching, her discipline, and detailed individual attention really has worked wonders!!
