About The Gaming Project

About

The Gaming Project is a cloud gaming service which started when two friends wanted to play a game together, but couldn't as they did not have a good enough PC, and from there started a quest which ended up where we are now.
The service is run & managed by gamers who are always looking to collaborate with anyone who shares their passion.

Super, super delighted to use The Gaming Project. I was looking for a service in India that could help me play the best of games with an average laptop and The Gaming Project has hit the bullseye here. I decided to give it a shot with the Rs.199 plan and now I've been using it for the past 3 months. The games work exceptionally well and if you've got good internet speeds, you can run them on Very High or Ultra quality. That said, it'd be great if latency could be improved between the servers and PCs (maybe due to the distance between server location and my city too). But apart from that minor hiccup, it's a brilliant service. 100/100 would recommend to use.

Worst customer support ! I took a months plan for a particular game and their hardware is capped to reduce the games performance(low fps at low setting) and over that the input lag on the browser makes it totally unplayable. The guy who replies to the mail is so rude on phone call. Better don't play the game than using this cheap attitude service. EDIT : In reply to the owner : Yeah!? So, what about the phone calls I had with u guys, where u said you will get the issue fixed else we will look into the resolution by refund or so. The very next day u started blaming game dev's saying the game is not utilizing resource and won't refund even though it's your mess up releasing an unplayable game without testing it properly on the cloud? Why don't you come for a live test and I'll show how your service works on browser, ok!? I have seen many cheap attitude services like u which didn't last in the long run, okay? Have some shame man!! If all you want is money, keep my month's money , I don't care. But, stop looting from people saying you are the cloud provider for games and can be playable from browser which isn't.

Nice service to be honest I didn't thought that it'll be so nice from the UI and from the in-browser gaming experience. I had thought that it'll be an okay service but.... it's nice as the streaming quality gets upto ultra which shows incredible graphics which I'vent expected. In a Brief Here are some Pros: -> Low Latency & Lag-Free Experience -> Great Graphics -> Doesn't take much time to launch like GFN & others -> Overall Good experience with Good Internet (at least 20 Mbps) -> Affordable and Quite Decent Pricing Cons: -> Lack of games in the Library (which is being updated regularly) -> No advanced options like FPS Settings -> Account Linking not available so I've to login every time -> Streaming & Gaming Stats not available -> Recording & Streaming on YT/Twitch not available -> Downloadable Application not available There are various cons there and some of them are genuine as they're just getting started and according to me the main thing i.e. gaming is amazing on the platform and that's what really matters instead of the other factors like steaming & stats and all. There are certain more Pros & Cons but I'll strongly recommend to try this out as it starts with as low as ₹10/hour with the Pro Plan.

Hello, I have a 30 MBps Broadband Internet connection, but still i have latency issues First while starting the Game it runs vey smooth and after a couple of minutes, it starts to stutter and input lag I took an Hourly plan to play GTA 5 and for first 20 mins i had no issues, then after 20 mins there was alot of input lags and often i have to change the Video Quality to 'Low' which is very blurry. So i request you to Fix this issue ASAP. Thank you. EDIT : its been more than 3 months since i wrote this review and during this period I've used their service for 18-20 Hours. This was an awesome experience playing AAA titles like GTA 5 and PUBG PC at Ultra Graphics in a low spec laptop. This time I did not face any issues like lag, Stutters,etc.. Just make sure no other device or app or background service is using your Internet Connection at the same time.

I'll be honest with my review, obviously if you would compare it to Xbox cloud or nvidia GeForce streaming or any other mainstream service (pun intended) available abroad, you would probably not enjoy it as much however, the fact that we even have something like this in India is mind blowing. The app is still in beta mode and has many ways to go but they have certainly nailed the groundwork. You can stream at ultra high quality and latency is decent enough to enjoy games without any major setbacks. Obviously game collection and local servers available are on the low end but i can only imagine where this will go in the future. I have really high hopes from this to evolve India's gaming. Cheers to the people @thegamingproject.co
