★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is great but dont justify the price they ask for. Small basic rooms. Hitel is located right at the Lokhandi turn Highest point of the road in the entire region. Good if you plan to stay near Budher Meadows without having to camp anywhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really fantastic experience of our stay at The Himalayan view. Owner Mr. Rohan rana is an extremely humble person. Cooks food himself nd it tastes awesome.
We were not aware of cold weather here so we were not having warm clothes and were shivering due to cold and Rohan ji provided us with his own jackets to protect us from cold weather.
Hotel is neat and clean and one can enjoy beautiful views from the room. Service is good and prices are reasonable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at the place for a night. Despite my changing the dates of travel, I was accommodated promptly. The place is the only hotel in Lokhandi with no market around and you won't need any. The hotel's owner, Mr. Rohan was exceptionally helpful and hospitable. I was even taken around to the base of trekking of Budher caves at a nominal price (on insistence). The rooms are very clean and some have a beautiful view of the valley. The food is delicious; in fact in my six years of travelling, I have had such a delicious food outside only few times. I was travelling solo and didn't find that to be an issue. I'd recommend this stay to everyone, even solo female travellers.
Heads up: Make sure to call Mr. Rohan before going through any online booking website as some might not give genuine information.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel is situated at lokhandi, luhari a village near chakrata cantonment area. Ample parking space for tourists, good local traditional food served here on demand. Staff is very polite in behaviour. During snowfall rooms are enough heated so that visiters cannot feel much cold. If you ever get chance to go chakrata do visit it's nearby places and himalayan view also.
