I am an otaku and hands down this is the best place to uncover the Japanese culture and learn Japanese. I went there with few of my friends, we visited the gallery which was very beautiful most of the paintings depicted the Japanese culture. The library was amazing, there were a lot of books and mangas and there were cloths for cosplay. Every few weeks they have a screening of anime movie (which is obviously every otakus dream to watch an anime movie on big screen). The staff is really polite and is always ready to help, location of jf is really accessible as it just a few metres away from the metro station

Some of the shameless Indian admin staff behaves so bossy as if they are the owner. Very bad training of staff on etiquette and basic manners. Worse is that Japanese bosses defend them when bad treatment of outsiders is reported. The rot in this organisation is evident and shameful. Visitors and associates, be firm and do not take any nonsense from the salarywomen in the office or library.

I visited their library and I was amazed with everything they. Best thing was that I have to use photocopy machine myself. Although this place is not as good as Allianz, max MΓΌller bhavan and cervates, this place has its own aura. They have really good collection of mangas and they are in English as well. But you couldn't sit longer here as you want because this place is really small.

The best library in Delhi for people who want to learn, explore and enjoy Japanese culture. It has an excellent collection of mangas and magazines from Japan like shonen jump and others who people an inside of the weekly mangas. It has other books related to Japan like its language book, Japanese yearbook etc. which are good for those who wish to know more about Japan and its people.
