Before opting for TKR, I've tried all the alternate therapies for knee pain cure but none of them have helped me. Then I approached, Dr Amite Pankaj Aggarwal, who assured me that total knee replacement will help me in making my day to day life easier and I will ultimately get rid of my knee pain . My overall experience with the doctor, his team and staff of Fortis Hospital , Shalimar Bagh has been very good. I was very well looked after by the team and the staff . ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I admitted my Mom for Bilateral knee surgery under Dr. Amite Pankaj at Fortis Shalimar Bagh. As a daughter and her attendant I was full of anxiety before I left Nairobi for this Surgery. However right from Admission to discharge we had the most amazing experience.
Her surgery was very successful, the fact that she could take those baby steps right after 4 hours of surgery was unbelievable!! One of the best Ortho Teams would be an understatement. Excellence beyond expectation. Heart full of thanks and gratitude to Dr. Amite. Forever grateful for instilling the confidence in my Mom that she too can have a normal and happy life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After visiting close to 4 doctors across Delhi, Hyderabad in last 4 years, we were referred to Dr. Amite by a close family member. As advised earlier Dr. Amite advised us to go for Total knee replacement of both knees and explained the surgery and recovery process in detail. He patiently listened to our concerns and addressed them with great analogies. We were extremely satisfied with his advise and decided to go for the replacement.
His coordinator Ms Vandana played a big role to ensure our surgery process right from the time to schedule the surgery to room selection, TPA follow ups, doctor consultations was very smooth. She was approachable on phone/WhatsApp and ensured us a great patient experience.
The entire team of Dr. Amite was highly professional and kept us in loop throughout the surgery process.
The staff members, GD, nurses were very courteous and there were times where it felt like a patient attendent was redundant since they were taking good care of my dad. There was a buzzer beside the bed, which will alarm the staff and they usually responded within a minute. Small gestures from the nursing staff like asking my dad how is he doing, motivating him during his walks brought a lot of positivity in my dad's attitude post surgery.
My dad started walking a couple of hours post surgery using adult walker. He walked up and down the stairs 5 days post surgery. All in all, my entire family is very thankful to Dr. Amite and his staff for performing a successful surgery and Fortis Shalimar bagh for ensuring a great experience. We are happy to make the decision to go with Dr. Amite.
