When we had purchased our first own apartment in Bangalore and we finally got it ready for possession, we had no idea how daunting, complex and, time-consuming the whole interior designing process can be! But thanks to Monochrome Studio and Pooja, we had an extremely seamless and amazing experience that we both enjoyed thoroughly, and the end product as you can see from the photos is just awesome! She took care of everything in the design - wardrobes, furniture, modular kitchen, designing the kids and master bedroom, electricals/lightings and wall colours/textures etc. In one of her posts, Pooja calls it "The White Dwelling" and indeed it is so amazingly designed and furnished, we can't thank her more for her amazing creativity, efforts, and her ability to make magic happen! The whole process was very well planned, orchestrated, and executed by Monochrome studios. Pooja helped us with initial mood boards to patiently understand what kind of home and interiors we wanted - the theme was finalized on the lines of Bohemian interiors and we wanted simplicity along with smooth / pastel colours. She then created the 2D diagrams and the 3D renders to help us visualize how things will look like for real - that was super useful. After finalizing the designs we then worked with a 3rd party contractor in Bangalore to get it all done. Pooja helped us with the minutest of all details including all our furniture, wall furnishings, curtains, and several other decorative items. Her keen eye and attention to detail were exemplary which is very clearly reflected in how our home finally turned out to be! She was able to co-ordinate very efficiently with the 3rd party contractor on her own and we had to spend so less time bothering about the implementation details. She ensured that all technical specifications/diagrams are clearly communicated and explained to the carpenters/electricians etc. This was an all-around effort to manage everything end to end and she did it with ease. Oh and by the way did I mention that Pooja did all this remotely (over WhatsApp messages and several video calls) as there were restrictions on travel due to pandemic - this itself makes the entire project so special and surreal - we were initially worried about how it would turn out, but boy was I in for a surprise. When we had the house warming ceremony everyone simply loved it - the living room setup, window seating in the living room, the contrasting colours in the kitchen and the beautifully designed kids room + 4 poster bed in the Master bedroom. Everything was just wow! Thank you, Pooja and Monochrome Studio for making our dream apartment become our dream home!
