★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MIS is a good school to send your kids to — it imparts important values of spirituality, culture, and education. However, NEVER study here in 11th and 12th grade if you wish to pursue science. The faculty is terrible — particularly the chemistry department. The teachers purposely make incredibly disheartening and difficult questions (out of syllabus, not relevant to the board exams) designed to make the child score poorly and shake their confidence. In a pre-board exam 20% percent of the questions they give are out of the board question bank, the other 80% you can't find answers to even on google. The environment fosters extremely unhealthy expectations. If your child plans to ONLY pursue CBSE board exams and not sit for entrances/ go abroad, even then I would ask you to reconsider. The teachers are not the finest ( the chemistry teachers are incredibly lacking and even somewhat sadistic in the way they teach and behave. Berating students and robbing them of any confidence. The administration has received multiple complaints against them but does nothing. )
As someone who had the misfortune of studying science here ( still managing to do very well, no thanks to the terrible experience ) and suffering mental health consequences to this day, here's the advice I wish I had received: Go to ANY other school in New Delhi and spare yourself the torture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best school any student can experience, period.
Everything is class apart. Amazing teachers,
awesome campus, co-curricular activities since decades that no school in India can boast of. Unmatched academic excellence and above all the deep rooted values inculcated, that becomes your way of life.
You need to be a part of this great institution to understand all of this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Ideals! Systematic Execution. Slight issue with staff's tech awareness. Very Much the place for the next generation to gain knowledge, values & a chance to thrive in life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am an ex student. This is the best school I have ever been in. The management including studies, activities, functions are excellent. The teachers are very good, they teach every concept properly with activities and everything is understandable. They take proper care of the students.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The facilities and infrastructure are good but the concept itself is quite flawed. The school is conservative with heavy focus on moral policing. The teaching is average - perhaps better than many other schools but most of the students rely on home tuitions for academics, private hobby classes for pursuing other art forms such as dance and music, or private sports training. There's heavy competition and the people who cannot afford private classes lose out in the competition. Therefore it isn't the best setting for poor people. There isn't enough scope for social development as the day is jam packed with activities. The burden of homework is quite extensive but innovation and creativity are hardly encouraged. It is more of a set back especially for people with a scientific inclination and bent of mind. Scientific thinking, questioning and reasoning is discouraged.
The concept is flawed because they try to incorporate a little bit of everything in the curriculum but do not provide the right framework to really learn anything from scratch. That ends up being a huge amount of time investment but very little being actually learnt by the students.
The positives are that yoga and meditation are taught from a very young age and environmental awareness is given significant importance. Language education is quite good, especially English (which is also the medium of instruction) is taught quite well.
I am an alumnus of the school from the batch of 2011 and i had my whole school education right from pre-primary (1997 - 2011) there. The information I have provided is from my own experience. Things might have improved in the last 10 years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A school with a rich and peaceful atmosphere. I can still smell the wet grasses and feel the warm sun rays on the track field.
If I could go back in time I'll relive every moment that I experienced in this school from 2002-2015.
