Well, we went there from gurgaon and left gurgaon around 5 PM and reached at pataudi palace around 6:10 PM. But we were not allowed to go inside and asked guard about it. He told after 2012, public are not allowed to visit this palace anymore.

It is a magnificent palace, which has stood gracefully since 1935. Pataudi Palace was built in 1935 by the 8th Nawab and former captain of the Indian team, Iftikhar Ali Hussain Siddiqui. - His son and 9th Nawab Mansoor Ali alias Nawab Pataudi renovated it with the help of foreign architects. This white palace built in Pataudi, 26 km from Gurgaon, Haryana, is a sign of the Pataudi family. Although the history of this family is more than 200 years old, but this palace has been built for almost 80 years. Recently Pataudi Palace was renovated by Nawab Ali's son and 10th Nawab Saif Ali Khan. There is a very close relationship between the ancestral palace and Connaught Place, Delhi's most famous market. This connection is made because Robert Tor Russell, who designed Connaught Place, also designed Pataudi's palace. It is said that Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi of Nawab Pataudi was so impressed with the design of Pataudi Connaught Place that he decided that Russell would also design his palace. Several Bollywood films have also been shot at Pataudi Palace, including names of films like Mangal Pandey, Veer-Zaara, Rang De Basanti, and Love.

Lush green campus, this historical building was build in 1900s by 8th Nawab of Pataudi for her bride (12th Nawab Begum of Bhopal). They were Parents of Tiger Pataudi, the youngest captain of Team India till date.) The palace was architect by Robert Tor Russell of England who designed Connaught Place of Delhi as well. It's beautiful White Palace with greenery and garden allover. Movies like Veer-Zara and Bandhan of Salman Khan shooted here. The Palace is now taken care by Begum Ayesha (Actress Sharmila Tagore) and his son Saif Ali Khan. A place with peaceful atmosphere with royal ambiance and feels heaven giving positive vibes. One can visit the palace with special permission.. luckly I got the chance to explore as it is not allowed to visit the Palace.

This is amazing get away from city buzz, amazing location, greenery is beautiful. History if amazing this place, linked to Nawab of Bhopal; Pataudi family. I would always want to go back to this place again :)
