★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is decent in terms of ambience and crowd. The food, especially non-vegetarian, is awesomely delicious. Staff is also well behaved and properly trained.
The parking is something which is troublesome. Basically no parking space allotted.

The taste of tomato chutney in Aloo Lalu chop is wonderful and the Mutton paya soup is very good.
Loved the freshness of apple in apple lemonade.
Overall worth the money.
*Be sure to ask the name of the dish served before eating, if you are a vegetarian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went their for a family dinner on a freezing cold winter evening. We tried variety of food including Litti Chokha, Chicken,Malpua and Makhana Khir. Everything was tasty and well presented. If you are not very familiar with Bihari cuisine you can always take guidance from the staff of the hotel. Ambience is beautiful and service is good. A place worth visiting

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good restaurant in terms quality of food, hygiene and ambience. Located at perfect location of Bihar Niwas. I specially loved their green gravy mutton, mango panha, chicken.
Service is prompt and thali system is also good.
Being maharashtrian this was the first time when I tried Bihari food and it was fantabulous. Must try category food.

Amazing ambience , great food.
Pros : the food is actually awesome , be it maithali thali or champaran meat, kahada masala chicken or aam panna , everything rocks
Cons : slow staff, chef has to be told to put salt, he forgets at times. Parking isn't easy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I personally loved the place. I went to this place on a winter evening while the sun was still there. The outdoor seating has a perfect vibe for this kind of wheather. The tables face to lush greenery and an open green ground.
I felt a little lag on the part of service even when the restaurant was not fully occupied. Apart from that their menu was very impressive and had lots of different options which any food lover and anyone who loves to explore different cuisines would definitely like.
I ordered assorted pokora basket, soups and bihari french fries ( they were awesome ). Everything was tasty and came in ample quantity. A common side serving and a main serving for each individual will make a perfect and hearty meal for 2. The soup was very different and tasty in a unique way.
The restaurant is situated inside the Bihar state house, parking has to be done on road only as there is no dedicated parking for the restaurant but it seems fairly safe there. Also do visit the small handicraft shop on entry of the restaurant as they have some pretty cool stuff.
