β β β β β One should definitely try Chole Bhature and obviously South Indian dishes here.
Prices are little high but are worth for some dishes.
Service is fast but staff is inadequate.
Outside seating is also available.

β β β β β The Mexi roll delight dosa was really good but that was it other than the rest of the two things i.e. idli manchurian was the worst manchurian i had ate and the bisebillebath combo was very average the masala dosa in it and the bath was very average.
Conclusion:Do try their fusion dosas and uttapas but can't say the same about other dishes.

β β β β β Location & Ambience : 3/5
Located on a busy lane of Sadashiv Peth right opposite the famous Pune Cold Drink House. South & More is a south indian restaurant with various various authentic south indian & Fusion varieties.
They have a well ventilated sitting space with both Indoor as well as well as outdoor seating.
Food & Beverages
As the name suggests , it is not only confined to only South Indian menu rather it is many more.
Starting with a few mocktails- 3/5
- Fresh Lime Soda : The basic go to refreshing drink in this scorching heat with Lemon, mint & ice cubes.
- Peach Ice Tea : The ice tea lacked the flavour of peach. It was dominated by the taste of ice tea.
- Mint Mojito : It was nice but a few fresh mint leaves would have added to the Flavour
- Blue Sky : It was a drink with orange sweet lime syrup & lime juice soda. Just needs to be a bit less sweet.
- Mango Shake : Summers are incomplete without this one . For all the mango lovers do try it out.
Coming to the Food - 4/5
- Podi tossed mini idli : These are the mini idli tossed with gunpowder giving it a spicy taste.
- Thatte Idli : Thatte is the Kannada word for plate and this flatter idli takes its name from its shape that is reminiscent of a flat disc or a plate.Β The thatte idli is slightly more porous and spongy. It was topped with dollop of Ghee and a spicy chutney spread.
- Mexi Roast Dosa : A crispy Dosa with a filling of Hot Garlic Mayo sauce, onion rings , lettuce and cheese served with delicious Chutneys.
- Schezwan Noodles Dosa : A spicy delight stuffed with spring veggies, noodles, and chilly garlic ginger sauces.
Moving towards the North Indian delicacies - 4/5
- Veg crispy : Deep fried mixed veggies sautΓ©d in Soy sauce, red chilli sauce , tomato ketchup and regular spices.
- Panner Achari Tikka : Soft cottage cheese marinated with a Achari tadka paste and grilled nicely
- Veg tawa : Pan roasted mixed veggies with aromatic spices
- Palak Panner : Soft cottage cheese cubes cooked in smooth spinach curry.
- Assorted Bread : All the bread were really well cooked in tandoor
Coming to the Desserts - 3/5
- Gajar Halwa : Freshly grated carrots cooked in milk, khoya with generous amount of ghee and dry fruits.
- Gulab Jamun : These were really soft and spongy generously drenched in sugar syrup.
Ending the meal with the famous south indian delight - 5/5
- Filter Coffee : Famously known as Kaapi. It isΒ a coffee drink made by mixing frothed and boiled milk with the infusion obtained by percolation brewing of finely ground coffee powder in a traditional Indian filter.
Staff & service : 4/5
Staff is friendly and the service is also Prompt.
Value for money.

If you are talking about ambiance wise, this is perfectly decorated indoor and outdoor space with traditional touch.
Now let's start with food, we were there for food tasting some days ago, we tried different South Indian dishes and some beverages.

β β β β β I am a big fan of South Indian food, thus try to explore many south indian food joints across the city. Found this place "South & More" in Sadashiv peth area, which is food hub of Pune city. As the name says "South & More" , it serves authentic south indian delicacies along with some classy north indian and western food.
Starting with ambience, its decent place with indoor and outdoor seatings. We started with some mocktails and food.
Mint Mojito
I was disappointed with the mojito, as it was normal soda drink without herbs. The taste was like sharbat. The mint leaves and herbs along with squeezed lemon juice would have made it taste better.
Fresh Lime Soda
I ordered fresh lime soda- salty. The lemon juice was in proper amount and the soda added to it made it a refreshing drink.
Peach Ice Tea
Personally I didn't like this ice tea at all. The peach flavor was missing and also it was not chilled. This tasted like a sugar drink without any flavors. A little improvement would make it a better ice tea.
Mango Shake
As it is season of mangoes, this place has introduced mango shake. The taste was good, but a little thickness to the shake would make it a better version.
Podi Tossed Mini Idlis
Small version of idli's similar to size of holland pan cakes , topped with podi chutney and coriander leaves. Also ghee is sprinkled over it. This was perfect snack to start with. #recommended
Thatte Idli
Thatte is kannada word which means plate, so this idli is called platter idli. It is a big idli which is topped with podi chutney, ghee and served with coconut chutney. You can't miss this delicacy, its a must try. #recommended
Mexi Roast Dosa
Dosa topped with hot garlic mayo sauce, onions, lettuce and lots of cheese. The dosa was cut in diamond shaped and served with sambar and chutney. No need to describe much, dosa is mandatory at south indian joints.
Veg crispy
Coated Mixed veggies sauted in red chilli and soya sauce. The crispy texture and the spices added to it gives it magical flavor.
Paneer Achari Tikka
Soft paneer cubes grilled with flavor of pickling spice and herbs.... These juicy paner cubes is a perfect starter/appetizer. It is served with mint leaves chutney.
Veg Tawa
Roasted veggies (potato, capsicum, tomato, carrot, cauliflower, okra) tossed on pan with indian spices.... This tasted pretty good and served with butter roti and naan.
Palak Paneer
This is a thick paste made up of spinach, ginger, garam masala and other indian spices. Paneer cubes are added to this paste which makes it palak paneer. The taste was on a sweeter side and served with butter roti.
Gajar Halwa
Gajar halwa was nicely cooked in milk and ghee.... The taste was perfect without extra sweetness. It was garnished with cashews, almonds and pistachios.
Gulab Jamun
Gulab jamun were perfectly cooked till it gets reddish brown. Jamuns weren't soaked completely in sugar syrup which resulted in little dryness on inner side. The taste was good.
Filter Coffee
This is mandatory whenever you visit a south indian restaurant. Filter kaapi a.k.a Kaapi is perfect blend of milk and coffee beans... which gives it rich and creamy texture. #recommended
Overall liked this place, which serves both north indian and south indian food. Service was quick with staff being friendly and helpful in deciding the menu. I missed to try their bisibelle bath which is south indian delicacy. I am going to visit this place soon to try bisibelle bath.

β β β β β South and More as the name suggests, does really give you alot of options other than just South Indian Food. Of all their outlets I visited the one in Sadashiv Peth a few days ago!
To begin with we tried their
Mango Lassi
Cold Coffee
Chocolate Shake
All of them were pretty good except they were a bit too sweet!
Coming to the South Indian Menu,
We had
Thatte Idli - It's basically one big size Idli with Yogurt and allot of ghee!
Podi Tossed Idli - A perfect quick bite to begin with! Mini idlis are tossed in various Spices and served with Coconut Chutney!
Chopsuey Dosa - This one's from their Fusion Dosa section! It's simply Dosa stuffed with Noodles and veggies, for me the combination didn't really go well.
Mexican Roll Delight Dosa - One of the best Fusion Dosas I've had! It had everything I liked , right from Paneer, Cheese to veggies and Mayo! The stuffing was perfect, Dosa was crispy and I definitely wanna try this again!
After having their South Indian Menu, we tried some of their other dishes.
Spring Rolls - Perfectly made, crispy from outside , stuffed nicely from inside, they were the best for me!
Paneer Tikka Sizzler - The best part of the Sizzler was the quantity they are serving, it was good enough for three people! The Sizzler had delicious Paneer chunks , topped on even more delicious rice! It was all added on with fries and some veggies! It's surely the best item on their entire menu!
Overall , I enjoyed trying all the dishes here and I would definitely recommend it for it's fusion dishes!

β β β β β Looking for a place which serves both South Indian and North Indian food. Then this one is a perfect place for you. It's in Sadashiv Peth with normal ambience. It is a good place which has both outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor is a lawn type area. We started with South indian food which included Thatte idli, Podi idli, Mexican roll dosa, Choupsey Dosa. This place also serves Chinese cuisine.
Podi Idli - It had some 10-15 mini idlis which has Podi on it. Not too spicy, not too simple,It was Mediocre
.
Thatte Idli - It has a very different taste, I never tasted idli this way. It has a flavour of yougurt and ghee and it tasted Delicious
.
Mexican Roll dosa - A fusion Dosa with so much stuffing in it. It was flavoursome and spicy. I would recommend having this when you are here
.
Choupsey Dosa - This one also had good stuffing but the taste was not too good
.
Coming to some other dishes rather than south we tried Paneer Sizzler and Veg Spring Rolls.
Spring Rolls - I had the best spring rolls here , it was too yum and it comes with Schezwan chutney which made it finger licking good.
Highly Recommend having this β₯οΈβ₯οΈβ₯οΈ?
.
Paneer Sizzler - No words to describe, South and more serves the best Sizzler. It comes in a very good quantity, three people can eat this. The paneer was so soft and mouth Watering. The corners were crispy too. It comes with crushed paneer stuffing and tasted heaven. And the bottom was filled with Rice, which had a flavoursome taste and this one was divine.
Highly Highly Recommended ?οΈ?
.
Mocktails - Had cold Coffee, Peached iced tea, Lemon soda, Mango shake and chocolate shake.
Among these Peached ice tea was good, remaining were too sweet.
