About The Wishing Chair
When we started our store in 2012, we had one single goal: to offer our customers high quality creations at the most value-for-money prices. We have an inhouse design team and no intermediaries or distributors, which allows us to set the best price for you, while also rewarding the expertise of our factories across the country and their employees at fair rates. 90% of our items are designed and manufactured in India - and for prices to be truly fair, they must stay the same all year round. We do not levy huge mark-up margins on our products and therefore frequent discounts offered are not viable or sustainable! That’s why we rarely run sales or promotions. However twice a year, to honour women and mamas, we have a Mother’s day weekend sale, and a mini discount on International Women's Day. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozily situated in a quite corner of Shahpur jat, 'The Wishing Chair' charms from the minute you open the main door!
Expect to find quirky and whimsical knick knacks, mason jars,coffee and tea mugs and cups, cushions and bed covers. This outlet also has a small cafe tucked in a cozy corner of the shop right behind a beautifully decorated spiral staircase. I didn't get a chance to try out the cafe sadly!
If you're looking for a place to pick up some great presents for close ones or just to indulge yourself, this place is a must go!
p.s. you'll feel this sudden urge to re-decorate your room once you've been here :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some interesting stuff here. We bought a wall-plate and an elephant head made of wire. Like the colors and life of the place.
There's a small cafe at the back of the shop. While it wasclosed when we got there, the guy offered to make us a drink. We ordered the cold coffee...and it was pretty damn good! (y)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most whimsical and quirky decor store...I have always been a fan of their online store and finally had a chance to visit one of their stores in Delhi. Took a bit of time to find this one in Shahpur Jat..It's tucked away in a corner behind the parking. They have really lovely objects d'art , I loved their wall plates and embroidery hoops. Definitely worth a visit!!

You can take your own sweet time to soak into the atmosphere and enjoy the experience while sipping a hot cup of coffee. The Mad Teapot cafe located inside the store is a perfect amalgamation of food and view.
If looking for some Arabiata cheesy spaghetti, this is your place. End your meal with delecious tarts and customized desert options available on their menu.
With a presence in Delhi and Gurgaon, they are shortly opening in Bangalore..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is for a high tea. Timing is from 10am to 7:30 pm . The cafe is along with the store where such beautiful collections of household stuffs are present. Just walking inside the cafe and the sweet aroma of the coffee and food along with the shop items makes u want to stay there only. It's like a magnetic shop.
