★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hilsa ( IIILISH) bhapey and with eggplant is the best. Far better than the contemporaries, Bhojohori Manna and Oh! Calcutta.
Bhetki paturi is out of the world.
If one desires to pamper with authentic Bengali cuisine Thikana ( near Malancha Cinema) is just the right answer.
The owner Suporno is suave and nice gentle man who takes care of every customer like he / she is his own relative.
Carry on Suporno and his team. Long live Thikana.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard a lot about their food, specially the fish items from friends so decided to give it a try. Thikana is located at 140/35 N.S.C. Bose Road, Tollygunge, Kolkata (Near Malancha Cinema Hall) and they are famous for their Snacks, North Indian & Chinese Dishes. This place serves quality food at a reasonable price. Now let me tell you about the food I ordered from this place:
For starters I tried their famous Fish Fry. The Fish fries were huge, served with some tomato sauce, mustard sauce & salad. They use pure Bhetki fillets to make these fries. The fish fry was absolutely crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. This one is highly recommended.
For main course I had Thikana Special Mutton Handi with some Lachcha Parathas. They serve this special mutton dish in earthen pots with a banana leaf inside. The mutton was very tender, the gravy was full of flavours and it tasted really good with the Lachcha Parathas.
Overall I had a great experience. You must order from this place at least once if you are in Tollygunge Area, I'm sure you'll love their food. I would definitely order from THIKANA again.

The chicken biryani is great but the fish Biryani is something I tried for the first time n it's just too good.. My entire family was like WOW???
We r officeilly a fan of you guys.
And everyone should try the items..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thikana is a new delivery joint located near Malancha Cinnema(Tollygunge). They mainly serve North Indian and Bengali food at their place. Recently tried Fish biryani and fish chop from Thikana. Fish chop was well stuffed with minced fish and spices. For the fish Biryani, portion was sufficient for a person. Biryani was served with a large piece of fish,egg and aloo and tasted super yum.

Ordered mutton roll. Look wise it's okay. But taste was not up to the mark. Improper mutton pieces actually soo small pieces like almost keema. It was little bit juicy inside and was very spicy which ruin the actual taste of the roll. Hope they will maintain their quality of the food in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently ordered from this newly opened cloud Kitchen totally satisfied with the quality and quantity food I recieved. Excellent packaging and quick service.
Ordered Special Mutton Biryani and Hari Chicken both of which came in earthen pots. The Biryani can easily serve two people containing two big pieces of mutton. Hari Chicken was the perfect companion for biryani, it's rich in spices and delicious.
Would surely try out other dishes from them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thikana is a newly opened cloud Kitchen located near Malancha Cinema hall. Their menu consists of both North Indian and Chinese cuisine serving breakfast and main course.
The packaging is really good and compared to other places like this their food quantity and pricing are very reasonable.
I tried their special Mutton Biryani which comes in earthen pot. The Mutton pieces were quite big, soft and juicy. Also the Fish Kochuri I tried for the 1st time and totally loved it.
Overall would highly recommend this place for some lip smacking North Indian dishes.

Tasted really yummy. Specially the quality of the mutton, the Potato is so soft. Almost melted in mouth. Only thing I can suggest them is that they can start delivering foods in containers rather than cardboard boxes. Else its really good. Looking forward to order more from here. Let the one star be reserved for that.
