★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good quality woolens and diffrent kind of jacket can be purchased at very cheap prices . Many shopkeeper show high prices but it depends on your burgaining skills . You can find many factory made jackets and cloths too. But i would suggest to buy the woolens which are hand made . Most of the factory looking jackets are hand stitched with inner woolen which keep you worm during peak winter season . I am have 2 jackets which i bought 8-9 years ago they are still in same good condition . If you like brands then this market is not for you.. since most of the products are not shiny like the branded stuff but if you want cheap and good quality woolens then its best place to visit. You can find many handicraft too. So overall experience is good . It helps to boost the economy of poor refuges who survive on our purchase .

Please don't fall for their trap and report this as much as possible.
Making business on some other Market's name is really shameful thing to do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a regular yearly event in many cities of india. Tibetian refugee who took shelter in India, with Dalai Lama, organise it and earn handsome living.
In 60's they use to sell it on foothpath. Subsequently, they started it by organising on some open grounds available. Now with the larger Ahmedabad, they organise on more than one location in Ahmedabad.
The best thing I like about the event is, it is very clean and neat. The same people who litter their own city, do not litter here. ???.
Another, they have covered place to feed toddler by their mother. The trade is managed by women, so it is requirement, but it facilitate to visiting women to feed their toddler too. I am surprised that none of our local organisers have taken this clue, including exclusive fair for women and even government organisations.
Even, it is a good time passing as you know the latest trend in jackets, sweater and other winter accessories, if you plan to visit Himalaya.
Earlier one has to make lots of bargaining, but now with fixed price tag, the rates are not negotiable.
I always visit to buy my leather hand gloves, which I wear round the year.
A place to visit alone, with family and/or friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old fashioned clothes at very high price in that price slab you could easily purchase branded clothes. But still being Indian we help Tibetans people to earn good income so they can survive. Quality of clothes are Good it's very good if you want to purchase winter clothes and planning to travel to North India during winter then purchase from them atleast there will be an assuring that you can bear cold in those clothes.
