When Kalamsir was our president it was his dream to see India advanced in the fired of science, and hence, CORE centers...Center of Relevance & Excellence were established all over India. 28 to be exact in various field of science. SCET, Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology was given TIFAC CORE CENTER in excellence in field of environment. Hence, TIFAC-CORE-SCET. So, TIFAC-CORE-SCET is the correct name of this center.
This is one of those few places in the city, that is not only involved in imparting quality education but also is active in field of consultancy. This center has a state of the art laboratory facility with all advanced instruments and worthy staff, who are expert in performing various analysis in field of water and environment testing.
Established by able management of Sarvajanik Education Society, this is the place, for which entire city is proud of.
