★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forest corporation maintained tent- rooms are very poor for night stay. No electricity, no fan arrangement, toilets are almost detached from tents. After dusk it is horrible to stay without any light. The dining area is quite away from the tents and at night it is troublesome to go there without a torchlight. During daytime it is not possible to stay inside the tents as those become too hot. Literally it becomes the only way to sit under the shed of some tree during that period. There is little show of giving any respite to tourists by anybody there. Only the food is ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good place for family outing. Except the distance constraint(it's far from Bhubaneswar and you have to pass through bhitarkanika forest) you can get all the fun out there. Their is a forest check gate, you have to pay a nominal charge to pass through. They also provide camp facilities, which is very good(don't expect much though). Can get food out their in the camps or small hotels(both veg and non veg).
In total it's a good place. Go their once.

So before 30km from the spot,you have to arrange your food arrangement.
