β β β β β Tikkar Tal is a wonderful tourist place to enjoy for 1 to 3 days. A true hill station to visit. There are lots of hotels and resorts near this place, the best probably is Tikka Tal Tourist Complex run by Haryana Tourism.
There are two lakes here with a gap of 200 meters...Bada Tikkar and Tikkar. Boat rides and adventure activities are available at Tikkar Tal and the rates are reasonable. Besides there's a adventure park and Nature trails also here.
Morni Hills is just ten kms uphill from Tikkar Tal and is another place of Tourist attraction with lots of hotels around.
Only downside at this place is lack of mobile network (at least Airtel and Vodafone networks were not functional at all).
Tourist complex maintained by Haryana tourism is good but the downside is slow service in its restaurant. Hope Tourism dept employ more staff or arrange apprentice staff during pick times for better Tourist satisfaction.
There are multiple access points to Tikkar Tal from NH 07 (Panchkula), from Chandigarh-Shimla Highway, from Raipur Rani being the major roads.

β β β β β Amazing place to spend time with family. A lot of water activities are there like Jet Skiing, Boating, Parasailing, Para-motoring, etc.
There is a big park with a lake view point. There is a small cafeteria also for snacks.

β β β β β Good Place for one day picnic plan from Chandigarh and nearby places. One can enjoy boating, Paragliding , Jetski here. It is developed and maintained by Haryana Govt. You can stay here for night if you want to enjoy sunset. Food service is slow and costly, beeter to take your own food. There are two ways to reach here, one is going through Morni hills top and beautiful as well as safe, Other one is from opposite side which is dangerous and not very beautiful.

β β β β β Beautiful lake and good place to visit. You can enjoy boat riding here bhoot bangla river crossing also available here
Winter season is best time to visit here. Adventurous road that give to best experience of riding.

β β β β β Its a great place for one day trip from Tricity.
Parking fee - 50Rs
They have opened a lot of adventure activities like jet ski, banana boat, gliding para sport, para sailing, rowing and boating.
Not that much expensive but still you can bargain if taking more rides.
You can carry your own food and sit on the grass and can enjoy the picnic.
Rooms are also available if you want to stay and buffet lunch is also there costing 350 Rs per person.

β β β β β Nice lake. There are so many sports like boating, paragliding etc. It was just a hyped up space, not so much good. At once you have to try it. It will take 1:45 to 2 hours to reach there. The roads are to narrow and under construction.

β β β β β A good place to just relax. They do have a lot of activities like boating, para gliding , jet ski etc. Beautiful scenery, photogenic spots.
The cafe is however not equipped as most of the items are not available. So alternate places to eat are the only scope.
They do have a covered area however being mostly an open space itβs advisable not to visit in extreme sun.

β β β β β It's a perfect picnic spot to spend a day with your family and friends. Beautiful lake, green and clean surroundings, nestled in the lap of morni hills it's worth visiting. You can water sports there too and lunch buffet at around 300 rs per person is a plus. There is a large grass lawn area where you can take your own mats and lounge about, play games or just serenade the scenery. Own eatables are not allowed though.
