★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passport verification police demands 600 INR bribery. When I asked why? He said the mandatory amount should be paid to them and no voucher. If I refuse they will not move the verification file to the passport office. He mentioned that the SI at Tilak Park Police Station is well aware of this and that the amount of bribes he collects will be shared by the top officer to the lower officer. So finally I gave it to him. We cannot fight without evidence / influence because of middle class people. This police department is corrupt. Its like robbery in daylight. This incident took place in 2014.
