β β β β β A perfect place to stay at if you're visiting this holy city, owners are very friendly. Rooms are pocket friendly and famous places like ghats,temples and restaurants are at walking distance from this place.

β β β β β This is my second time to stay in Tiwari Lodge .
The room is ok, the bed isn't comfortable but the owner and his son give me a soft mattress , that make me easily sleep .
it's a safe place for me who travel alone .

Maybe don't have the best service ever as a Lodge, but here you can find an amazing owner, with his wife and son, ready to help you and introduce you in the magic world of Varanasi and the Hindu religion. Private temple in the garden. Absolutely a good place to live in assi ghat.

β β β β β No basic amenities available. Even for bore drinking water had to follow up multiple times and had arrived after 2 hours. No cleanliness, bathroom very dirty. The owner will ask for payment first for the 2nd day and would not agree for the settlement once you are about to leave. Not sure why he was so insecured. Would not recommend to anyone.

β β β β β I have been living with the family that runs this guest house for over 15 years. During this time, I have seen the love and care they put into running the lodge, and making sure their guests are well taken care of. Of all the people I have known over the years in India, I trust this family the most. I have seen some terrible comments in a couple of recent reviews on here, from people that we didn't expect it from, and it makes me very sad to think that people can take some personal grudge and write things just to make the ratings go down, and try to make a business look bad.This is shameful. I can confidently say that the owners are trustworthy and I highly recommend this place as a sanctuary in Varanasi.
