Very good service, they were extremely helpful in the logistics of moving from place to place. They helped us get around town and to the train stations, helped us find the right train, and helped us get on another train at the last minute when our booked train was cancelled. They arranged for us to have an excellent, knowledgeable guide around Agra who gave us a great tour of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, as well as the workshops of some local craftsmen. We are very glad to have had their help and would recommend them to other visitors.

Short summary: after doing extensive research, driver/agent selection is down to 3 points: detail & thoughtfulness in planning itinerary, quality & reliability of driver, and price. Rajan, Mahesh and the local guides really exceeded expectations & made our trip memorable. The prices are very reasonable, and most of all, everyone took great care in prioritizing our safety, security & maximizing our experience. ** In detail: I have engaged OM tours after a week of research, and comparing prices across 6 tour operators on both trip advisor and google maps. Our experience started 3 weeks back, we started doing research on drivers and tour packages. We have done extensive research for the Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur) and we initially planned to only hire a driver for our party of 3. When comparing prices across, I had received a wide range of quotes for my 6 day/5 night journey. One super aggressive agent quoted as high as $580 US dollars all in. The other 5 operators were in the more reasonable price range; Rajan was about 10% lower than all other operators. But this alone was not why we choose Rajan, it was because of the detailed explanation and was also very patient (and prompt) in answering all of our inquirers which gave me more confidence. It is about reliability, quality of driver, then price. a To our surprise, upon arrival, Rajan actually pick us up from the airport and dropped us off at the hotel on late Sunday night (as he learned that it was our first time to India). He arranged Mahesh as a driver for us, and I can confidently say, he took our experience to another level. Not only was he a phenomenal driver, very safe/alert and prompt (he always made sure the car is stocked with amenities, wifi and stayed alert when we got in and out of cars) but he also took extra care in protecting our well being as we traveled around. Being a developing country, there will be a lot of hagglers selling & hawkering around tourists, Mahesh always looked after us, made sure we were safe from the moment we got off the car, till the moment we got back in. We also trusted him to give us recommendations, he gave us great advice on what to see, what to avoid and where we need to be careful. Our itinerary was also very aggressive, as we wanted to see everything on the checklist for Instagram, Mahesh knew each all the unique locations and informed our local guide to take us there. We didn’t miss a single location, thanks to Mahesh. He was much more than a driver, he acted as our body guard and local advisor on top of the local guides. I highly recommend asking for Mahesh as your driver! In terms of local guides, I really want to thank Rajan for taking care of us. First of all, he was the only operator to include local guides into the prices. All other operators charge 1000 INR for local guide per day. Rajan really went above and beyond here. IN short, I highly recommend Rajan, it’s about price, details and at the end of the day, how good the driver is. Rajan exceeded expectations in every way, and I can’t say enough good things about Mahesh.
