★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a DBT Institute for PhD programs and other R&D activities. Not a place to work on contract appointments. Contractual appointments being used for manipulations with govt. rules. Very disappointing and unfortunate.

It is also an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. It was set up in 2009 at Gurgaon and is now located in NCR Biotech Science Cluster, Faridabad in lush green aravali area along with the Regional Center for Biotechnology and other biological projects of department of biotechnology, government of india.

Roads are neat and clean
Environment is also good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ +ve: Beautiful architecture, awesome infrastructure, great design. One of the best institute in India. Institute is neat and clean, staff is also very supportive. It mesmerise you with its beauty.
Cons: The institute is outside the city and awareness among people is about zero. If is really difficult to reach institute by public transport. Even auto / cab drivers do not know institute name.

They have different lab division like cell biology, compuational biology spread in four floors with common canteen area with RCB institute. The lab architecture is good with proper safety levels. Multiple development and expansion is going on to further include new facilities.
