★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place for trekking with minimum cost, we headed at bapa sitaram temple and walked around 2 to 3 kilometer at Tungareshwar temple ( There are food stalls here ) After half an hour we started our trekking towards balyogi shri Sadanand maharaj ashram (there's no food water in this route) its about 11km from tungareshwar temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good for low-key trekking....best time to visit is in the monsoon....nice cool weather.... should start early in the morning to avoid crowd and afternoon heat....take some food and water with you if planning to reach the temple by trekking...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to visit.The temple is situated on top of a hill.On the way 40 mins hike via rocky road.The hike is truly mesmerizing.The temple is very clean and well maintained. Be cautious regarding monkeys.The tend to steal things from hand if caught off guard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tungareshwar temple is famous for having the shiv Ling in the front and Ram kund at the back. The drive to the temple is just amazing, specially the off road trails. To reach the temple it takes about 20mins from the main gate at the forest. Expect to see lots of birds and monkeys along the drive. If you happen to reach the last point which is 20 km up in the forest you might see leopard as well. Kids would love the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome temple of Lord Shiva in the forest ..... very clean and nice people in the vicinity... nicely maintained temple.. nice food you will get.. must visit destination.. lots of monkeys inside.. only thing is the roads which should be made now ..not at all maintained
