Here different types of ships built in different corners of the world are brought after their useful life gets over.
Here the workers break down the ships and bifurcate the scrap and usable materials.
Old items of ship which can be reused like crockeries, furniture, vessels, fire equipments, etc is sold at a nearby market in Manar.
And the remaining body of the ship is wrecked down and sold as scrap.
Usually a ship takes 3-4 months to get completely broken down.
I got a chance to visit the ship from inside and my experience was amazing.
