How to reach your college? What transportation facilities are available? College management is not replying the email, such an irresponsible people.

Right now I m study in this CLG. In this CLG teaching lvl is good , but canteen and campus is not so good.

Located on outskirts of Ahmedabad, UCET offers engineering course (UG) in almost all major branches. Talking about the faculties, they can be annoying sometimes but most of the faculties are really very solicitous and thoughtful. Attendance strictness is moderate (some faculty makes it tough though). It is roughly 23-25 kms from ahmedabad. College do provide transportation facility but due to its monopoly in transportation, charges are levied too high on students. Close proximity to college is Vadsar airforce station and Arvind mills. College is not having flamboyant style campus but rather a sufficient well spaced one. There is a mechanical workshop besides college building. Seperate college canteen which is nicely built circular structure. A huge garden in front of college (which is not allowed for any use). Classrooms are well ventilated and 2-seater bench are comfotable to sit. Library are having good number of sitting facility but they slightly lag in terms of reference books and variety of books. Labs for all branches are sufficiently equipped but still there is a need for procuring lab equipments. College is having just one volleyball court and no other sports facility available (we made our own football ground to play behind college with bamboo goalpost). Talking about the culture then they really need to upgrade in that field. There is no student driven committees at UCET. No extracurricular activities are promoted at UCET. All the sports and cultural activities are mostly student driven and they need to manage that with a very meager budget they get from college authorities. Overall we can say is that UCET was a growing college when I passed out in 2014, but they tend to be still growing in 2016. If students have will to study and grow then they will have to put a lot of efforts from themselves. It's a nice college with good faculties and average infrastructure. Good number of alumni are well settled. Cons : They don't contact their alumni ever. College makes no such efforts to contact their passed students except it's a case of money.
