β β β β β It's a great place for all the people who live in the cities. They get to see some plants for a change. But if you come from kerala or even some good farm in Gujarat... This is purely overrated.

β β β β β Had a great time when we visited Upaj farm on the outskirts of Vadodara two weeks back with family.
It is a wonderful place to spend half a day.
We saw all kinds of vegetables growing here. We can buy them off shelves or even off plants, with registration and permission.
First registered with a nominal amount and we had a guide who accompanied us and gave us a tour of the farm. He helped us pluck and choose and explore their yield.
It is very interesting and educative to see what is growing there. A lot of variety and most importantly, all organic. We picked up a week's stock of vegetables.
There are some patches of "rent a farm" which means they are taken on rent by farming enthusiasts who grow and reap seasonal vegetables grown there by them with the help of staff at the farm.
We had carried with us our breakfast, which we enjoyed having there in a rest area,with tea made by their staff.
There is a usable restroom thankfully !
All in all, great getaway for visitors.
Do Google and check timings. I think it is closed on Mondays. Pre registration may be desirable.
I believe Upaj is celebrating " Vasantotsav" in the near future, around Valentine day, with added attractions.

Not many stalls , mostly food
La dolce vita - excellent pizza and dessert! Must try!
- Kotimbir vada and SabuDana wada ??
- delhi ke dahi balle were disappointing. The dahi was watery and the wada had no taste. Their aaloo tiki with chole was good
- lassi and paneer item were good
- You can pack snacks here for healthy nibbling
