★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have a deep attachment with this school as I have spent my 8 years here.From 2010 to June 2018.Lots of memory I have had here.Teachers are quite good, atmosphere quite better. Exhibition during Saraswati puja is the best attraction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like any government school can be, average infrastructure, huge student population and bustling classrooms; the teachers try their best to tackle this huge student load and are often loved (and sometimes hated by the students). A well known and well reputed school in the locality, they do quite good in Secondary and Sr. secondary reasults I hear. Affiliated to West Bengal Board, government aided Bengali medium boys school. Established in 1939, this school has got some history and obviously a sizable alumni population as well. Their annual 3-day exhibit during Swaraswati Pujo is also quite fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first, uttarpara amarendra vidyapith (uav) is my school, where i studied from class 5 to class 12.. so i know everything about uav...there are big, airy class rooms, hall room, library, computer room, laboratories,office room, staff room.. also have good qualified teachers...they very careful about study with their every classe's students ..and i love my school very much.. cause I'm the X student of uttarpara amarendra vidyapith...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the oldest schools of Uttarpara.The school has produced some brilliant students but average students are direly neglected. Most of the students are very weak in English. Just go to classes from IX TO XII and give the students to write a simple composition like My Daily Routine or My Parents and I can guarantee at least seventy percent students can't write it properly. The teachers have no botheration about this . Most of the teachers are busy giving private tuition but don't bother about common students.
