★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lack of infrastructure ,since it is an old college. But now renovation is going on. Students get lot of freedom here. Classes will be not more than 4 hrs . Have many clubs to improve their skills . More than 80% students will get placed. It has beautiful environment . One can be isolated from Bangalore.

You doesn't feel like a Government College.
You will get lot of freedom to explore new things.
Though it has excellent teaching faculty, ultimately your self study matters alot.
Renovation is still going on.......

It's really great experience as student of this historc college.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came hear for campus visit . There's no proper person who can explain the curriculum or any other thing . But the students are very helpful , I suggest you to ask students about they know better than any other teacher or head . Infrastructure is mostly complete but they are still building one block . No luxurious facilities of cafeteria and no proper disintegration of class rooms (no name plates in most ). Classrooms are okayish . You cannot expect regularity in classes . The college doesn't run by professor's or teachers , I think it mostly runs via students. Placements is mediocre and a bit more if you are a bit more . Only self study matters at the end of the day .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Currently pursuing my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication. Quite a peaceful and serene atmosphere with ample numbers of plants and trees. Since the college is going to be an Autonomous Private University, the infrastructure is undergoing improvements. The college management successfully maintains the 100+ years legacy of the college. Proud to be UVCEian!❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a nice college, it has really good infrastructure and gives freedom to students, it feels like home and all students are very good. Actually seniors are like pillars here they help lot.
FACULTY : only few standard professors are there and others are ok but not good. Still for lab practicals I feel it's not even close to some normal colleges ( rating 2/5).
INFRASTRUCTURE : This is 100 year old prestigious college in Karnataka, the building is renovated and is good, SELF STUDY is the key here ????.

PLACEMENTS : In case of placements UVCE college is in 2nd rank in banglore and 3rd rank throught karnataka. So one can expect good package of you do little hardwork like participating in all the events and other stuff apart from study.
(Rating 4/5).
MY OPINION : Overall I would like to tell something about this college ....
If you're from middle class family then this college is best for you. Don't come with luxury of expectations, you will get an extraordinary experience here, trust me???? ( Rating 4/5).
If you( freshers) have any issues in college, inform to HOD, that's the only way we can maintain consistency in working of the college??

The University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering was established in 1917 by Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV G.C.S.I, GBE and his diwan Sir M Visvesvaraya K.C.I.E, FASc.
The college has been fully restored to its former glory. Its prime location, old alumni network, aesthetics, pure merit based admissions and it's heritage attracts good placements.
A visit to UVCE makes you join it or be associated with it forever.
