About V&M
Our relations with our suppliers are excellent and we have built long term relationships with them. Due to this our suppliers are willing to experiment along with us and in fact enjoy doing the different kind of leathers we require particularly making our occasional small quantities.
We have made it a practice to plough back most of the profits into making ours a stronger Company so that there is all round stability and our workers get more secure employment. By 2004 we had created a 19000 sq ft facility at the Industrial Model Township at Manesar which we later expanded to 23000 sq ft.
The real dream was to move to the villages where the real need for work is. Besides the truth be told when workers migrate for work they end up without empowerment. Being among the more fortunate we are working on a sustainable, decentralised rural development model which we hope will set a precedent to be widely followed. It is not charity, it is provision of employment with empowerment with self respect.
