★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest snacks place in Pune and most probably the earliest Misal Pav restaurant. It gives glimpse of Old times of city. If you are looking for Old City ambiance then this is the place. Please do try Misal Pav, Usal Pav and Paatal Bhajji. Reasonable prices and decent service. Nostalgic place ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is the taste good? Yes it is ! Is it unique? Yes it is ...so the issue is out of 365 days in a year , this is closed foe 300 days , you take a rickshaw and reach there and they are proudly closed like a typical pompous puneri shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic misal... common misal is prepared using red chili powder and spicy... this is different no red chillies but still spicy. Server with bread slices not the typical pav...
Their ambiance is kept old rustic and resembles typical konkani style eatout place. Indoor sign boards and placards too are old school.
Simple menu, cleanliness, everything is perfect.

Eating misal pav and other goodies here since childhood. A 100 plus years of heritage. Smell of old Pune is here.
The ambience is old school. The food is delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having Misal at this 110 year old eatery is a special experience. The green chilli, garlic and coconut based green 'patal bhaji' forms the base of the misal. It has a mildly spiced taste that is very likeable and easy on the stomach. This makes it an interesting change from the usual Misal which uses Red chilli as it's base and has a fiery red colour 'tarri' floating on top. While all of us Misal fans, love the red tarri, this 'green' misal charms you.
The Misal and the simple, old world ambience grows on you and you step out with a sense of fulfillment, wanting to come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is one of the oldest (over 100 years) in Pune to serve Misal Pav. The place has a clear retro look. Its Misal has a special style of making with Green curry containing strong ginger paste and a combo of pohe, chivda, shev, mataki usal and dry coconut pieces. It is not very spicy. The rates are reasonable. It is a nice experience to have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are misal lover and wanna try something unique then you have to visit this place , They will serve this misal with thick shev and medium spicy green curry ( Rassa) . Taste is good but few people may like this misal few may not because of unique mixture of ingredients. There is not place for car parking but you can easily get two wheeler parking here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this place early morning. Ordered misal pav. They serve bread slice along with misal. Taste was good. Not that spice and no use of red chilli powder like every other misal joint. Gravy consists of potato and lot of onions. This is very old place, we can experience this by looking at the ambiance and seating arrangement. Service was prompt and quick.
Must visit place to try for a different kind of misal. It’s not like usual red gravy misal everywhere you will get it in Pune. Taste is unique.
