'कर्नलगंज इंटर कॉलेज' के पीछे मैदान में स्थित है.. इसे इसी स्कूल के भूतपूर्व छात्र लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल शांतनु चौधरी ने स्कूल को 17 जुलाई 2004 को भेंट किया था.. 39,000 किलो और 50 किमी/घंटा की अधिकतम स्पीड वाले इस टैंक की रेंज 530 किमी थी.. चार कर्मीदल की क्षमता, और इंफ्रारेड नाइट विज़न की भी सुविधा थी..
यह ब्रिटिश कंपनी 'Vickers-Armstrong' के एक मॉडल 'Vickers Mk1' के लाइसेंस-प्राप्त प्रारूप पर आधारित था.. इसका निर्माण चेन्नई स्थित 'अवदी' नामक स्थान पर हुआ..
1983 तक बनने वाले इस तरह के लगभग 2,200 टैंक्स बने..
इसके अलावा एक और, 1971 के बाद का बना 'विजयन्त' टैंक सिविल लाइन्स स्थित 'सेंट जोसेफ कॉलेज' के मैदान में भी रखा हुआ है.
और तो विजयन्त पोर्ट ब्लेयर और नेशनल वॉर मेमोरियल पुणे में भी संरक्षित है..
