It is a good institute if all you want to do is learn stitching.They do give exposure in fashion shows also..

I have seen many students when they join fashion design institute, they have a thought that after completing the course they will become a fashion designer which is completely a wrong thinking process when you join into any fashion design institute. One should know to achieve success and fame it needs lots of efforts, hard-work and creativity. Now a day’s market is very competitive, to get success you have to be very creative. So rather blaming any institute respect your investment and be confident and focus to learn as much you can which will help you to achieve your goal.
As a my personal suggestion I would say when you join any fashion design institute first of all set a goal what you want to be in future, a fashion designer, Merchandiser, costume designer, fashion stylist, motif designer, print designer, visual merchandiser or in which field you want to be.
Secondly visit the industry or boutique to get more knowledge from the ground it will help to clear your doubts and give you questions and scopes which you can learn before leaving the institute.
Try to find out contacts of the senior students and your staff members make a call or meet them and discuss with them and listen their experience not only with those, who got good name and stablished themselves in the market. Also with them who has chosen other field.
Hope this will help to understand the way before you start your academic journey.

All my doubts are solved so nicely and got in depth knowledge about fashion from VD Faculties. The infrastructure and amenities are also very nice. Before joining VD I didn't had any knowledge about how to put a thread in a needle but now I can design any Garment on my own which is appreciated by my friends and Family, all thanks to Vastra Designing team for making me so much capable..
