★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best canteen. Recently renovated.ACa and fans still not installed. (06 Mar 22) Lots of items (groceries) are available. Mostly daily use items available. Please note that this place is a restricted area and the canteen serves only servicemen/ Ex service men and their families. Identity Card is mandatory for entry. Civilians are not permitted. Ample parking space available. Counter staff is fast, with four billing counters. 2 item checking counters. Some more sitting arrangements are required outside the canteen entrance area. Presently only 2-3 ss benches 3 siters are insufficient. Walking distance from MGR to canteen is around 1.5 kms.
