It opened in 1966 and was incorporated as a University on 23 May 1967, and has been recognised by the University Grants Commission in 1968. VNSGU is the first university in India to offer postgraduate courses in rural studies. In 2004, it was renamed as Veer Narmad South Gujarat University after the Gujarat poet Veer Narmad whose real name was Narmadshankar Labhshankar Dave.
An urban University located in the city of (Vesu)Surat, the University has a campus spread over 810 acres. Over 3000 students study on the campus. The University has faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science, Education, Management Studies, Rural Studies, Engineering and Technology, Medicine, Law and new constituted Computer Science, Homoeopathy and Architecture. Several major and minor research projects are taking place in various departments. All the departments have their own computer laboratories and departmental libraries

This University considering mostly all kind of courses expect of Engineering and Medical.
Gujarati, English, Hindi, etc
Here students can get overall development of himself/herself.
This University not only provide study for Indian students but foreign students also.
Lots of foreign students come here to complete own knowledge hunger.

Not online any activity related after educational document process.IN any case exam conduct veer Narmad South Gujarat University but transcript provide other college and after taking in varification. Charges are very high. Please ????? helping student @vnsgu. Other facilities regarding XEROX and clenless college. Please change offline process and help outer side Student.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ VNSGU campus is very natural with two small lacks. If you nature lover then you can findout many birds and insects which is rare in our daily life. Kingfisher, drago, hooper and peacock and many more birds you can see. running ground, cricket ground, two general ground and amphy theater and many more. Visit and enjoy clean natural environment of university

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the greatest and most beautiful University of Gujarat state. There two lakes situated in this university. One larger farm for Rular studies available here. VNSGU have facilities like one gym, one beautiful cricket stadium with natural grass, one indoor swimming pool, one indoor stadium for badminton, one race stack, one football and hockey stadium. VNSGU has a great central library with historical collections. It is located on Udhna Magadalla road BRTC root, so you can very easily reach here from Railway station and GSRTC Bus station. It's open theater and convenience hall are designed for very large population and one of the largest central a.c. hall of South Gujarat region. There is also a clinic for minor treatment and emergency. SAMARAS boy's hostel a state level hostel protect is also situated in VNSGU. There are nearly 5-6 boy's hostels facility also available here. Girl's hostels are also available in VNSGU. VNSGU has a guest house facility and one mess for hostel students. There is everywhere greenery, lots of trees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a good and well maintained University . It has good facilities and a great campus . But the only thing which is lacking is the management and administration . Some of the staff members behave very rudely and don't give proper response. Otherwise it is a great University with so many different kinds of courses. All the separate departments are there for different courses and is the maintained in a good way.
