I haven't experienced police station till now ??

It’s been almost 2 years that this incident took place , To Begin with , I am a local from vengurla, have been based in Mumbai for about 10 years now .. I am 26 years old ... so this incident took place in the evening at around 8 pm when I decided to get some groceries on my two wheeler .. and was followed by two men , I didn’t realise it until they stopped their (2 wheeler) in an isolated place , asked me If I would be interested to sleep with them ( In the local Malvani dialect ) ... I immediately stopped them there and saw one of my distant cousin name Sahadev Parab ( who apparently is a professor in a college ) who didn’t even stop to help me in that situation , I decided to go back home and narrated everything to my parents who took me to the police station , but alas , We were disappointed because the police wanted to know the names , I was kept waiting at the station for 2 hours was asked 1000 of questions and when found out about the names , which was after 4 days of visiting the police station everyday .. The picture seemed normal to everyone in there . The police inspector then later asked me whether I knew those guys cause apparently they found out they were from the same college and also asked me whether I was friends with them .that clearly meant that they started putting the blame on me , I was shook to the core as I wasn’t feeling safe in my own locality .. my distant cousin as I mentioned earlier betrayed us on the face saying he had a family there and would not be interested to get indulged in the matter . I am writing this review not to show how poor the team is but to let them know that there are Girls like me who have travelled the world but the only unsafe place they came across was their own neighbourhood. I just don’t want anybody at all even the daughters of those who misbehaved with me to go through this even once in their life .. PS - To all the potential police of vengurla, please handle and take these things seriously before we have another Nirbhaya or Priyanka go through the situation. Thank you ?
