★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A four year old incident. The Doctor performed Scanning and reported that there are occurances of Down syndrome for the baby by making some calculations. Advised to undergo Invasive test, which we declined and stepped out. Consulted a different doctor - by looking at scanning reports, our Doctor set aside such occurance of down syndrome and baby delivered is perfectly fine. First finding - Doctor wants to conduct expensive tests so that they get good revenue. Second Finding - Doctor is ruthless and direct which makes the mother feel that there is a problem. The trauma that the mother undergoes will affect the baby inside the womb when she thinks the way this Doctor talk. General public please beware of these kind of Doctors. Invasive tests are expensive and there are chances of damage to the womb. Third Finding - why did the Doctor advise us incorrectly inspite of having requisite qualifications and experience? Is money (Commission from Diagnostic center) bigger than name and fame? Middle class cannot afford such expensive tests dear Doctor. The tests that you recommended were costing a Lakh plus few thousands. We do not earn commission plus fees like you.
