★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a value for money theatre which can provide you the better movie experience in low cost...rather than spending lots money in multiplex...I can suggest you just go for it! You can get much better satisfaction...some chhapri people also come there for watching movies but no matters ... apana kaam Banta bhad me jaaye janta!?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many years before the small town of Ulhasnagar had ten movie theatres. Out of which two were on the east side of the town. Almost fifteen years before Prabhat talkies closed and Venus became the only talkies for the residents of Camp Four and Camp Five. Venus Chowk, a circle, is named after the talkies. I don't know when the talkie started. But it is for sure older than three decades. It is a single-screen theatre. It had the biggest compound among all the talkies in Ulhasnagar. Now half of the compound is converted into a residential complex. The talkie screens B-grade as well as the mainstream Bollywood movies. It sells a balcony and stall tickets. Which are not more than Rs 100. But the talkie has one single hall with an inclined floor and no actual balcony. Ideally, the talkie is not for family as many miscreants came here to watch the movies. The chairs are old with no maintenance from the Venus management. On one side of the hall, audiences have to bear the continuous filthy air flowing from the nearby toilets. Watching a movie with nose covered is not a good experience for any audience. Venus talkie has two gates. A narrow entry from the main road opposite Meera Hospital. And the big entry gate near hardware shops. The only time Venus witnessed houseful advanced booking shows, for many days, was during the screening of the Marathi movie Sairat in 2016.
