Amazing way also the top of the tekdi has breath taking view... Also good place for photoshoots... you may get to see peacocks luckyily.... Must visit place for groups or family... Older people may avoid this trek

there a small police chowki as a landmark.
early you reach more beautiful scenery to explore.
also less heat. its small.trek for about half and hour climb can carry your tent . not at all difficult to climb .
view of pune city is refreshing .
ppl reguraly visit as part of daily exsersice.
there is parking space for bike scooty .
there is chai wala which serves tea coffee samosa and also sells milk packets .

Peaceful and middle of city for a great break.
Great part of the trail experience was that there were so many volunteers who were doing clean up activities.
If all citizens be responsible it would be more richer experience.
Yes this place is a full family experience to cherish

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most serene place in Pune. Located almost in the main area of the city this small hill is a place for people to come and jog here in the morning and in the evening. I personally visit the hill for its good vibes. There's a lot to walk, but it's worth it. 'Tekdi' is the marathi word for small Rocky hill. It's also know as ARAI tekdi as it's located near the ARAI facility. On the weekends various dog owners bring their dogs for walk here. You'll get to see almost all types of dogs here. There are also equipments kept here for excercise. Some cyclists bring their cycles to the the hill. There are plantations of trees going on, on the far side of the hill. It's a must visit place .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best scenic and peaceful place to be in pune. I often go for morning and evening runs.
But recently quite saddened as most of the hill is crowded with dog walkers. So while running not only have to dodge these dogs but also their sh*t.
Also frequently there are untamed cows ? which charge on couples only. Single people no worries!
