Best and cool place for those who are nature and history lover. You will get everything in utensils of copper and brass that was used in history. The food provided there was a bit costly but it was cool and best when you are in group. The sitting for the food was like you can spend hours during that

Tantalising city of Ahmedabad is packed with historical sites and modern delights. The sixth most populous city of the country is renowned for its diverse and welcoming culture. An inspiring sightseeing spot of the city is the Vechaar Utensils Museum that emphasizes the diverse collection of utensils. An imposing museum that takes you back in time with the display of metal utensils including brass, copper, bronze, zinc and German silver. It is poised to be one of the inspiring museums to visit in Ahmedabad that have been set inside the Vishala Village Restaurant. The wonderful collection of utensils highlights the iconic artworks collected from different parts of the country like Rajasthan, Orissa and Madhya Pradesh. Vechaar or Vishala Environmental Centre for Heritage of Art, Architecture and Research features metal utensils made of stainless steel, zinc, wood, bronze, German silver, mud, copper and glass.

The locks size is more than you imagine and there are many different types of locks, also there is a one Top and Taj Mahal which is made of 75000 matchsticks. People should visit this place to see how modern is our ancient time more than today

This is a part of the Vishala restaurant complex though housed in a separate building and accessible with a separate nominal ticket. It houses over four thousand old utensils housed in mud hut type buildings and covers every possible type of household utensil sued in the days of yore. The collection is genuinely fascinating, and row after row of utensils evoke interest. Value could be added by some descriptive plaques saying where the utensils were sourced from or their history. Also if the attendants would accompany small groups and talk about the same, it would make the visit more enjoyable. A good walkthrough while visiting the restaurant.
