★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bhavnagar surrounded by 2 sq-km well conserved Victoria Park a protected forest on the edges of Gaurishankar Lake. It was designed in the year 1888. Bight flora, birds, butterflies, nilgais and elusive fox population greets everyone. Lucky Trekkers through spot one the many birds like Bulbuls, Green Bee-Eaters, Robins, Tailorbirds, Silverbills, Peacocks, Sunbirds, Spotted Owlets, Shikra, Rose-Ringed Parakeets, Common Peafowl, etc. The largest part of the plant species including family of Leguminoceae and Poaceae. There are 223 bird species, 15 mammalian species and 20 reptile species. Inside the park, there are some nurseries where one can see some unique variety of plants. There are two water bodies inside, Gaurishankar lake and Krishna Kunj lake, where a large number of migratory birds nest regularly. Recently, a picnic site is developed inside the core area of the park with many benches, picnic tables, and concrete block pavements. Multiple types of accommodations are available nearby the park for tourists.

Asia's biggest jungle which is in middle of the city...
Wall around is painted...and also made world record of painting longest wall and most number of paintings on the wall at the same time...
Very peaceful place...
Free of cost...no need to buy any type of tickets for visiting this place...
At least visit once if you are in Bhavnagar!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this place , it's fully makes us connect the nature . I have visited many times and had a great experience of connecting to nature . There are observation points and watch towers which gave a complete view of park . There are some animals and birds also present , and it has complete silence and no disturbance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is human made forest in 1888 by Mr Proctor Sins for Maharaja Takhtasinhji of the Bhavnagar. Great Place for Morning and evening walk and to spent time with nature and away from the noise of the city. Very ca and relaxing place. You may find various kinds of birds also here.
All and all natural place with full of pure atmosphere and peace at its best !
